What is worth writing about

A figure that differs from the page it cites, a card that is missing or copied wrongly, a sentence that claims more than its source, or a question on how something was counted. The desk goes back to the source and replies.

What happens to a correction

The sentence or the table row is changed where it stands and the date of the change is added. Nothing is edited without a mark, because each figure is valid only for the day it was read.

What the desk cannot answer

Whether a provider can be trusted, what a reader should do with money, and anything about a broker's account or a complaint against a broker are outside it. The broker answers those first and, if they stay open, the regulator.
