The FxPro account, and what the link is for

No money is taken from the reader by this site, which is not the broker. It links to FxPro because cTrader's own list marks FxPro as copy-enabled, and it earns a commission if a reader opens an account there. Copying a trade means taking a leveraged contract on a price.

What cTrader's list printed for FxPro

On 6 November 2026 cTrader's broker list printed for FxPro a copy flag, a maximum leverage of 1:30 and a minimum deposit of USD 100, with the regulators "FCA UK; SCB - SIA Bahamas". The list is the platform's own text, and this site did not check it against any register.

The broker page also says that copy availability depends on local regulations and on the broker, and may be restricted in some regions. It does not say whether a resident of Nigeria can use the service.

A record does not travel with the account

A provider's record is made on the provider's account, at the provider's broker, on the provider's balance. A follower at another broker has different spreads, a different leverage and possibly a different list of instruments. The help pages say a trade is not copied when the follower's broker lacks the instrument. The record cannot be assumed to be reproducible on any given broker, FxPro included.

Questions for the broker

Can a resident of Nigeria use the copy service? Which company holds the account? Can a demo account follow a strategy? Which symbols does the account trade, compared with the ones the provider's card lists? What leverage does the account have? Written answers are worth keeping beside the screenshot that started the enquiry.

RegulationFCA, CySEC, FSCA

The firm holding an FxPro account is outside Nigeria: the FCA in the United Kingdom and CySEC in Cyprus regulate the group, while the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria has issued it no licence. Safeguards that come with a licence in Nigeria are, for this reason, not available here. Sending foreign currency abroad in order to trade falls under the Central Bank of Nigeria's foreign exchange rules. Nothing here is investment advice. For FxPro, cTrader's own broker list printed these regulators on 6 November 2026: FCA UK; SCB - SIA Bahamas. FxPro is the one to ask whether its copy service is open to a resident of Nigeria.

The link on this site goes to FxPro, a broker that cTrader's own list flags as copy-enabled. What a copy gives the follower is a leveraged contract on a price and no ownership. The broker's terms come before any decision.
